Most patients report little to no discomfort during the injection procedure of Botox, no more than a small pinch. We do offer topical numbing if you are anxious about the discomfort factor. 

People who receive Botox/Dysport see results in as little as 24 hours. Botox/Dysport can take longer, between 24-72 hours to see first results. Full results can be observed at around 14 days. This is when your follow-up appointment will be scheduled. 

Most patients who receive Botox/Dysport go back to their day-to-day activity following treatment. We only advise that you refrain from excessive physical activity on the day of treatment and not to lay flat for 6 hours.

Everyone is different. A consultation with our experienced Nurse Practitioner will allow us to accurately assess how many units you will need to achieve your desired result. There is no pressure to purchase anything at time of consultation. 

Everyone is different; however, results begin to fade at 3-4 months. 

Discomfort levels vary depending on individual pain tolerance and location of filler. We use a medical grade topical numbing cream to make all filler injections as comfortable as possible. Most people report little more than mild discomfort. 

We carry a range of different fillers for different facial areas and concerns. Most people use at least one syringe, depending on the area being treated, and the thick/longer lasting the product is, the more expensive it is. As with botox, we advise a consultation with the Nurse Practitioner to get the most accurate quote of how much your treatment will cost. 

Once again this is case specific. As a rule, fillers last 6-12 months. The most expensive fillers may last longer- generally 18-24 months. 

Bruising and swelling are definite possibilities with any filler. We provide pre and post care instructions to you to minimize your chances of bruising as best we can. We will provide an ice pack to you after your appointment to bring the swelling down. Any swelling or bruising that does occur will normally resolve itself in one-two weeks.

With filler, results can be instantaneous. However, you may have some bruising or swelling that persists for a short while, particularly the lip region. You can expect this swelling to go down and see true results after 1-2 weeks. 

Most fillers we offer are Hyaluronic Acid-based fillers, which are reversible. 

PRP is a substance that harnesses the healing power of platelets and growth factors present in your own blood. Platelets stimulate stem cell response encouraging new collagen growth, damage reversal, and cell repair. Over time this response recruits collagen-producing cells called fibroblasts, that replace damaged or lost tissue with healthy skin cells. PRP is autologous concentrated preparation of platelets and the associated growth factors in a small volume of plasma. Our PRP system allows us to simply remove nearly all red cells, white cells, and platelet poor plasma (PPP) without removing a high percentage of platelets.
